Why do you need an apostille?
Apostille is a special stamp of an international notary public that confirms the authenticity of a document on the territory of another state. For example, your diploma is issued in Russia, and you are going to present it to your employer in the USA. In this case, you need to put on it an international stamp "apostille" in order for the document to become valid in the United States. Conversely, if you are in the United States and you need to certify a document for a legal or natural person who is in another country, then you need the seal of an international notary public - an apostille.
