Flamingo Garden Park, Miami

Botanical Wonder Flamingo Garden Park - one of the oldest on the coast. The theme of the park: subtropics and tropics, there are more than 3 thousand species of all kinds of plants and trees. Among them 21 are the greatest tree in Florida.
 
The creators of the park restored the house of Rhey, making it a popular and functioning museum. Imagination affects the living two-century oaks, which form a unique beauty hammock. In addition to real flowers, there is a garden of magnificent butterflies and hummingbirds, competing in beauty with any flower. Even the rarest malachite butterfly, a native of South America, is found here.
 
Although the garden is botanical, the fauna of the inhabitants is impressive: 83 species live on its expanses! There are water predators - alligators and otters, beautiful cat-like panthers and lynxes, magnificent peacocks and majestic eagles and flamingos. You will be amazed at the diversity of the flamingo genus - in the park of these birds there are 250, only 45 species. The park plays the role of replenished of the natural fauna of America - more than 2 thousand chicks hatching here, for the last two decades released into the natural environment.
